Peter Martinez is a specialist in California Workers’ Compensation Law with over 20 years of experience. Peter has extensive experience representing insurance carriers, self insured employers, third party administrators, municipalities, counties and cities. Throughout his career, Peter has represented Unions, injured workers, large lien claimants, as well as uninsured employers. Peter also has extensive experience in Union Carve Out programs and ADR Programs as well.
Peter partners closely with his clients from the inception of a case thru discovery, including cross examination of medical experts, trials and appeals up to the California Supreme Court. In defending workers’ compensation claims for the last 16 years, Peter’s goal is to minimize a client’s exposures and minimize the length of a case to as short as possible.
Peter is a graduate of Humboldt State University where he received a Bachelors of Art degree in Political Science and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, Ca. He now lives in Southern California and serves clients throughout the Greater Los Angeles and Inland empire communities. He is fluent in Spanish and lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles and spends his free time in the mountains hiking and fishing.
